About Gendreau Accounting

Roland and Kelly opened Gendreau Accounting in the early 1990s as a part-time venture focusing on basic tax preparation and consulting services. Initially, they handled all tax preparation manually in a pre-computerized world. As the years passed, their commitment to providing quality service fueled steady growth. In the 2000s, Gendreau Accounting embraced technology by transitioning to an entirely computerized model. By 2017, the business expanded its services to include bookkeeping.

In 2018, Kelly joined the business full-time, ushering in a new chapter for the company. Over the next six years, from 2018 to 2024, Gendreau Accounting experienced remarkable growth, solidifying its reputation as a trusted partner for both families and businesses. In 2019, recognizing Intuit’s shifting focus, Roland became a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and began expanding the company's customer base along the East Coast, serving clients from northern Maine to southern Florida. In 2024, Roland made the decision to leave the corporate world and fully dedicate himself to the business, allowing him to leverage his extensive experience to support small and mid-sized companies.
